Stages

There are 36 stages inspired by the periodic table. Each stage features a Theme Element, where the atomic number corresponds to the stage number. To clear a stage, you must reach the target score before your element pool runs out.

Element Pool

Players manage a pool of elements. In the default game setup, you start with 50 Hydrogen, 20 Oxygen, 9 Nitrogen, and 6 Carbon.

  • This pool is used to fill the empty spaces created during gameplay.

  • For each stage, a specific amount of the Theme Element is temporarily added to your pool. These added elements vanish once the stage ends.

  • Upgrades: You can increase the quantity of elements in your pool through upgrades.

  • Unlocking Elements: Once a stage is cleared, you can also use Credits to add that stage's Theme Element to your pool.

As shown in the Stage 1 example above: Because the Theme Element for Stage 1 is Hydrogen, the 15 temporarily added Hydrogen atoms are highlighted in red to clearly distinguish them from your permanent pool.

Target Score

Each stage has a specific target score you must reach.

  • The target score increases as you progress through higher stages.

  • Reaching this score before your element pool is completely depleted clears the stage.

Rewards

Clearing a stage rewards you with Credits based on your performance. Credits are used for upgrades or as funding to retry a stage if you fail.

  • Base Reward: The standard reward received for simply clearing the stage.

  • Excess Score Reward: Bonus credits granted for points scored beyond the target. This reward has a cap, which increases in higher stages.

  • Element Reward: Bonus credits awarded based on the number of elements remaining in your pool upon clearing.

  • Objective Reward: Credits rewarded for successfully completing specified objectives.

The fewer elements you use and the higher the score you achieve, the greater your rewards will be.

Objectives

Each stage presents specific molecule-creation missions that reward extra Credits.

  • Stage Objective: Requires synthesizing a molecule that contains the stage's Theme Element. If the Theme Element is a noble gas that cannot form molecules, this objective will not appear.

  • Additional Objectives: Two separate side objectives are provided, each challenging you to synthesize a specific molecule using only the default element pool. These objectives feature a hidden level system; completing them raises their level, presenting more complex molecules with higher rewards in subsequent stages.

Completing these missions is entirely optional. You can clear the stage even if you do not complete the objectives.
