Privacy Policy

Alcyone ("App") is provided by Boil Studio ("we"). This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, stored, and shared.

1. Information We Collect

  • The App does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or other contact details, and does not require an account.

  • Game progress, settings, and similar data stay on your device and are not sent to our servers.

  • The following information may be collected automatically through Google Analytics for Firebase:

    1. Device information (such as operating system version and device model)

    2. App usage events (such as app installs and launches, stage progress, and in-game shop activity)

    3. Device or app identifiers used for analytics (such as an app-instance ID, and on iOS an Identifier for Vendor). The App does not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android)

    4. Approximate location derived from IP address (typically country-level). The App does not use GPS or request location permission

  • The App does not include the Meta (Facebook) SDK and does not display ads inside the App.

  • Apple and Google may also collect their own App Store or Google Play analytics independently of the App. That collection is governed by their policies.

2. How We Use Information

  • To understand aggregate usage and improve the App experience

  • We do not use this information for personalized advertising, and we do not send App events to advertising networks.

3. Retention and Deletion of Information

  • We do not operate a user account system or our own user-data server.

  • Data stored only on your device is removed when you uninstall the App or clear the App's data.

  • Information sent to Google Analytics is retained according to Google's policies. We do not control those retention periods.

4. Sharing of Information

  • Usage data is sent to Google LLC (Google Analytics for Firebase) so we can analyze how the App is used. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

  • We do not sell your personal information.

  • We do not share App data with Meta, advertising networks, or data brokers.

  • Data sent from the App is transmitted using encryption in transit (HTTPS).

5. Your Choices

  • The App does not provide an in-app switch to turn analytics collection off. You can stop further collection by uninstalling the App.

    Because the App does not collect an advertising identifier and does not request tracking permission, there is no in-app tracking prompt.

6. Children

  • The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
